It's Rooster349 the bigot Republican!

Hey TOT. I know you like to respond to reviews, and I'm bored and drunk so I thought I might write you an interview.
-What do you think of a completely secular society?
-What do you think of Dick Morris?
-Do you believe that Fox News is ridiculously biased, or just slightly? How does Fox News compare to other networks? I mean, I watch Fox and I honestly don't think it's that bad. Brit Hume is a democrat, and they do interview quite a few prominent Republicans.
-Have you ever listened to Rush Limbaugh, or did you just read Al Franken's book about him?
-How do you react to the optimism displayed by the panelists at Bush's Economic Conference?
-What are you getting your children for Christmas?

Well...Merry CHristmas. :)

TheOtherTruth responds:

Thank you for your review.

*takes another sip of Mississippi Mud*

Completely secular society - NO! On paper it sounds good, but you need diversity (even though I detest zealots)

Dick Morris - He kept hookers on the streets

Fox News - Extremely biased. I don't deny them the right to state their opinions, but they definately shouldn't be allow to call it NEWS. Watch the movie "Outfoxed" if you can get it on the cheap. Very informative about Fox News.

Rush Limbaugh - Yes, I have heard his show 5 or 6 times. It is scary that people value the lies that this man spews. He is articulate and knows how to control a conversation, but he is nothing more than a "rabble rouser".

Bush's Optimism - HUBRIS! Bush really does not have a clue. I am not trying to get on a "Bush is a moron" bandwagon. I think that he is probably more intelligent than he is given credit for. HOWEVER, he lacks the real brainpower to run the country. I really believe that you you have to be more than "garden variety" smart (like Bush) to run this nation. I really do want a true intellectual to run this country.

Christmas - Kirby's rainbow something or another and other Gameboy stuff for the boys.

Dolls and other frilly items for the girls!

Merry Christmas to you as well! May the Gods of Macromedia bless you with Flash 7!

Well, that's one side of the story.

This is a piece of socialist propaganda, and much of it is refutable.

Regardless of what you hear, there are Iraqi's that appreciate what the US have done. As far as I've heard, public opinion is split in Iraq. Some desire the safety and stability of a dictatorship, and some want to go forth and have elections and have a democratic Iraq. The Insurgency was started before the invasion took place, it was a group of Sadaam's supporters put together to "defend Iraq" in the name of Sadaam. They have been semi-successful in drawing in outside support, but you make it sound as though every Iraqi is upset that Sadaam left, when in fact, the insurgency is a small part of the population, and most Iraqis are at least happy that Hussein is out of power.

The 100,000 deaths statistic is grossly exaggerated. Most anti-war websites mark the max amount of Iraqis dead as less than 16,000, and though that is substantial, it's not nearly as much as the exaggerated figure you give.

Terrorists would hate us regardless of our policy in Iraq. Because we support Israel staunchly, we are an enemy to them. This is the root of Islamo-fascist terrorism today, along with ignorance.

outsiderzero responds:

i've added a couple links that back up some of the facts and figures presented in the flash, including the 100,000 dead figure. and yes, one of the main reasons for them hating us is our support for israel, the only non-muslim country in the region, and we obviously arent going to abandon them anytime soon. however we need to stop the killing and imperialism on our part so we appear as less of an imminent threat to everone in the region.

Nice nunchaks, jerk.

Lol, they are square and blocky. Where's the fun?

I really must say, I love that awesome music though.

TheDeuceDeuce22 responds:

Music By WeedClock...

3D is harder than you think...

It was a good series but I'm still behind Gdub.

Please don't hate me! :)

You ask what's the point of making your movies, and if you're talking in a political sense, you're right, you aren't changing a thing (Don't feel bad, netierh does Moveon.org, Act for victory, Michael Moore, Jim Hightower, etc.) That aside, there is some great comic value in your flash.

I liked this last one, because it's so preposterous it's funny. I guess theoretically it could happen, but the White House barely responds to major political dissent at all, and I doubt they would use this tactic. I understand this was your aim: unilikely, but possible.

If you're interested in an interesting and surprisingly balanced read, one of my professors at Maryland, Shibley Telhami, has written a critical analysis of US relations with the Middle East and how they view us. It's a very well thought out and (mostly) balanced argument that has done more to convert me to a moderate than any angry liberal media. I think you'd like it.

TheOtherTruth responds:

Thank you for your review.

More than anything, I wish that I had the time to read something politically balanced. The sad thing is that I am very politically balanced. However, in every discussion that I have with people who are on the right I am able to find agreement with some of what they say....but, they never see the light in anything that I say to them.
Their complete dogma is appauling.

This is my Segue into the one source of media that has softened converted my thoughts (slightly) on Religion. That would be the movie DOGMA.

The very moderate views in this movie made me think harder about religion than I had in years.

Ehh...

All the people on this site who say you're unpatriotic? Come on, I'd say about at least half agree with what you say.

I know tons of liberals who question the patriotism of conservatives. Many think that if you support Bush, you are devoid of a mind of your own, or you are uninformed, or you are part of a vast right wing conspiracy, or the right wing is suceeding in it's plan of keeping you poor and stupid. These accusations are just as blind as the "You're unpatriotic!" crap.

Only ignorant people criticize their opposition along these lines. I understand that you're doing it to be funny (no one would find your flash movies interesting if they were polite) so that's okay. I don't question your patriotism, but I recognize that we differ ideologically. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing wrong with that.

Anyway, My favorite is still the "McDubya's" one. That was just too funny.

TheOtherTruth responds:

Thank you for your review.

OK, here is the deal:

I was watching the George Bush Show #6. Whether or not you agree with Bush's politics or not, this flash is tremendous. Now, I'm not obtuse. I realize that there are still people who will just not find it funny.

Irrespective of that, it is generally one of the top ten series' on Newgrounds. Still, there will be detractors (yes, I know this!)

HOWEVER, when the few bad reviews came, it felt like "liberal this" and "liberal that". I live in one of the most Hyperconservative communities in this country (you can't even buy alcohol on a Sunday in many cities out here). Everytime I hear the work LIBERAL used this way, it is meant to be hateful and is usually tossed out there by a "good Christian".

That said, I got pissed and took it personally.

It sounds so funny to me that you hear people question the patriotism of Republicans. I don't doubt that you are factual in that statement, you would just NEVER hear that where I live.

Perhaps I am too cloistered?

At any rate, the truth of the matter is that people should always be looking to find the middle. I think that a lot of my over the top stuff "like this movie" are drawn from my irritation with the community that I live in. I know that there are many more moderate people out there. Unfortunately, they don't live anywhere near me.

For the record, McDubya's is one of my favorites too.

I hate politics.

This one wasn't as funny as some of the past ones.

I really like the series, even at the point when I was a big fan of G. Dub. I recently changed my mind, I think much of his foreign policy was clumsy, I think NCLB sucks, etc.

Unfortunately, this election has put me in a spot where I'm really going to have a hard time voting for either of the major party candidates. Kerry is a piece of shit, and I know a lot of people are going to vote for him just because he's not Bush, but that doesn't mean he's going to be any better at running the country. He strikes me as a man who will say anything for attention, and the only constant issue is his stance on the Vietnam War, which he was in. His health care plan is costly, it's not going to improve the deficit. His senatorial voting record is so far to the left that I want to kick someone's face in just thinking about it.

It's sad when an election comes up and I have to vote for who I hate less, and as of now, I dont' know who that is. It really dampens the whole politicial scene, you know?

TheOtherTruth responds:

Thank you for your review.

I think I agree in great part with what you are saying.

I don't know that Kerry is as bad as you think he is, but he certainly is not the best choice by any stretch of the imagination.

You are right about the anti-Bush vote, but I really think he is EVIL. I don't mean that in a wreckless, funny way. I really believe it.

About health care, though. We are the only rich, western country not to offer national health care to its citizens.

Give this idea a thought, and get back to me.

The U.S. provides free health care to everybody in America:

1. Healthier workers are more productive and would reap the benefits of improved in the form of higher quality goods and services for a cheaper price.

2 Employers are no longer required to pay health care benefits, so more money is freed up for them to hire more workers.

3. By creating a free health care system, the health care industry will expand exponentially to meet the increased demand. (Again, more jobs and healthier more productive people).

4. Money that people used to spend on overpriced health care and medicare is now recycled back into the economy creating more investment and more discretionary income.

I really think National health care will pay for itself, and then some. The key of to do it right, and shoot the for profit HMO's.

that suxxored lol

I think the speed of the resume is meant to hide your lack of legitimate information against the man.

Texas was the most polluted state before Bush came into office, and his actions actually curbed emissions in Houston and in the state altogether, (perhaps not as much as he could have, granted.)

And then you throw around, "he got into office by name." Duh.

Sorry. If you want to attack Bush, base it on his administration over the last four years to make the arguments stronger, rather than his past.

PhoenixJ responds:

I didn't write the resume, bushoccupation.com did. And I would attack the administration, but that wouldn't make very much sense in the story, now would it?

Was that supposed to be Bush?

He looked a little bit funny looking if so. Anyway, I can agree with this flash almost completely.

I do believe however, that at least half of the ten commandments serve as a universal moral code that should be followed by all. It makes me sad that Christians believe that those who don't believe in Jesus go to hell.

TheOtherTruth responds:

Thank you for your review.

No, not Bush. That was Judge Roy Moore from Alabama.

Oddly enough, I share similar views on the 10 commandments and religion.

It is a great moral code to follow, but I don't want somebody shoving it down my throat.

I also believe that people who are convinced that they are the only ones following the "true faith" and that everybody else is going to hell is nothing but BS.

YAY!

SO much better than Bush Bash. I love your movies most when you're not campaigning against the president. I also like the one about Livecorpse, but I was too lazy to review that.

The art is generally bad, but you've got a witty sense of humor and smart scriptwriting and delivery. (even I don't don't like admitting that to democrats who talk about genius IQ's and political science majors.)

On a side note, do you have any plans for running for office? What do you do??

TheOtherTruth responds:

Thank you for your review.

I apologize for the grandstanding. Sometimes when I am taking abuse from morons(this doesn't mean you), I just want to tell them just how out-matched they are.

I realize that is a bad thing. Obviously brains haven't made me a million dollars yet, so what do I have to brag about? Every now and then, I could probably use a good "bitch slap" to get over myself.

Anyway, I had considered running for office years ago. I now realize that you really need to be a part of a political machine at a very young age, or well connected. I don't fit either of those bills.

As for what I do now...I do a very republican thing. I sell real estate!
This is just eating up my whole life at this point, but my business partner assures me that we will be clearing a $1,000,000 per year in 5 years.

This past year, between real estate and his other job, he made $350,000. He wants to quit his other job and triple his income, so he brought me on board.

I guess that makes me a republican in training? I difference for me is that once I am making those big bucks, I am not afraid to be taxed a bunch. I just view that as my civic duty.

At any rate, I am glad you liked this movie. I don't know if another Bush Bash is on the horizon, or not. I am actually getting a bit bored with the series and I will probably just reflect my next opinion about him at the voting booth....but you never know!

Haha.

Make one with Pube Mupit. Haha. Good work.

Also the only real problem with the graphics are the backgrounds, or lack thereof.
